 While I believe a lot of factors play into success, I believe that one factor is the most essential.  "Passion is the key to success."Passion is not just excitement and enthusiasm. Passion is relentless devotion to a desired outcome. It is t hat infinite strength and courage that resides on the inside of every human being. It will push you into new possibilities for your life. You will know what you are passionate about by what you remain committed to during moments of crisis in your life.  Here are a few keys to living a life full of passion...

1. Define what you are passionate about.

A lot of times we waste words trying to convince ourselves that we are passionate or committed to a particular thing. However, I am a firm believer that time is the greatest assessment metric of what matters to us.

Some say they are passionate about health and nutrition, yet they neglect it daily. Others say they are passionate about gaining new skills, yet they are stuck in the same routine.

Often it is only a select few that are truly serious about improving the quality of their lives.

If you are truly passionate about changing something, then you will define it. Anything that you make concrete, you are more likely to remain committed to.

2. Feed your passion.

Whatever you feed will grow in your life. If you feed negativity, you will continue to produce undesirable results.

However, by feeding the positive intentions that you set for your life, you are empowered to produce positive outcomes.

You cannot expect to reap from what you have not sown. It is a violation of universal laws to expect a better life without engineering a better life.

You have to cultivate the seeds of what you want to see manifest in your life. What you do not cultivate will ultimately corrode.

3. Protect your passion.

When you allow pessimistic voices to poison your environment, you slowly diminish passion in your life. Your passion cannot thrive in an environment that is hostile to possibilities.

You must guard your passion with everything in you. Place yourself in environments that stir your passion and make you sensitive to new possibilities. Guard against environments that would cause you to shrink your vision, abandon your dreams and abort your potential.

Passion cannot live in environments that inhibit. Passion thrives in environments that ignite. Guard your passion with all vigilance.

4. Reaffirm your passion.

Life has a way of draining us and depleting us of passion. We encounter so many challenges and crisis that, if we are not careful, will kill the seed of hope.

You must fight to maintain your faith. You must keep your passion before you.

What you reaffirm becomes real to you. The more you affirm that passion the more you awaken to new possibilities for your life. When you reaffirm your passion, hopelessness loses its grip on your life. You stop passing time and start partnering with time to reach your greatest potential.
