"A city with fearlessness, having a city where people are in the centre of it, inhabitants are integrated into the process, an amazing city is one which has the ability to give people a reason for new behaviour. A city has scars, insivisble scars, which are from the people who have lived there. My role would be to facilitate the speed in which inhabitants can take part, reason fort hat; integrate the people of the city – to form a collective view"

About TEDxKlagenfurt

We passionately believe in the power of ideas in changing attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So we’re building a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world’s most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other. WHAT IS TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxKlagenfurt, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxKlagenfurt event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
