    "Burn The Witch"
THE RETURN OF RADIOHEAD

A still from Radiohead’s new video for the song “Burn the Witch.” Radiohead’s twitchy, anxious melodies express true apprehension about the future: both where we’re going and, more important, how we’re going to get there (by newyorker).

"Burn the Witch" is a song by English rock band Radiohead. Following a long recording history, it was released as a download on 3 May 2016, accompanied by a stop-motion animated music video that pays homage to the 1960s British children's television programme Camberwick Green and the 1973 British horror film The Wicker Man.

"Chernobyl Disaster"

30 Years After

 By Elisabeth Cardis via OpenDemocracy.com

The Chernobyl disaster of April, 26, 1986, in Ukraine, is considered the worst nuclear accident in history together with the one in Fukushima, Japan, in 2011.

April, 26, 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the accident in Unit 4 of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine, which resulted in a very large release of radionuclides which were deposited over a very wide area in the Northern Hemisphere, particularly in Europe and, most particularly, in Belarus, Northern Ukraine and part of Western Russia.

The Chernobyl disaster was the worst nuclear power plant accident in history in terms of cost and casualties. It is one of only two classified as a level 7 event (the maximum classification) on the International Nuclear Event Scale, the other being the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in Japan in 2011. The battle to contain the contamination and avert a greater catastrophe ultimately involved over 500,000 workers and cost an estimated 18 billion rubles. During the accident itself, 31 people died, and long-term effects such as cancers are still being investigated.

"The Best BIKE Quotes"

Celebrating the Bicycle Day

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”Albert Einstein

The Bicycles were introduced in the 19th century in Europe and as of 2003, more than 1 billion have been produced worldwide, twice as many as the number of automobiles that have been produced. They are the principal means of transportation in many regions. They also provide a popular form of recreation, and have been adapted for use as children's toys, general fitness, military and police applications, courier services, and bicycle racing.

The bicycle's invention has had an enormous effect on society, both in terms of culture and of advancing modern industrial methods. Several components that eventually played a key role in the development of the automobile were initially invented for use in the bicycle.

"The Best Street Art in Los Angeles"

by  Alec Banks via highsnobiety.com

Although Los Angeles may be best known for such attributes as perpetual sunshine, gridlocked traffic, and the tip-tap of finger strokes of people typing on Final Draft looking to hit it big in Hollywood, the City of Angels is also a welcoming palette for a diverse set of international artists looking to make their marks. But the road to creating an atmosphere that welcomes large-scale artwork hasn’t always been as smooth as a Botox-injected forehead either.

Work 3.0: Meet the Future of Work

It’s hard to believe that even 10 years ago we didn’t have Facebook or Twitter. Ten years before then, we didn’t have the Internet. We have come a long way in a relatively short period of time, and new technologies are now requiring changes in the way we work. Today’s workforce is more dispersed, global, mobile, flexible – you name it. We are also witnessing the rise of a new generation of workers, the Milliennials, who will soon be the largest and most connected sector of the workforce.
